All grape varieties were originally red?

There are around 10,000 grape varieties spread across all continents. Its expansion and capacity to colonise an environment is surprising and it is due to the great mutation capacity this planet has. This means that statistically a greater number of mutations makes it easier to randomly result in a greater adaptation to each condition encountered.
Did you know that all varieties were originally red? Then… How did the white grapes appear? It is a mutation and an albinism of the grape.

There are varieties that are identified by the name of their origin Pinot blanc-Pinot Noir, Garnacha blanca-Garnacha tinta, Tempranillo blanco-tempranillo tinto. Many others mutated long ago and several times that it is no longer possible to know their origin. There are also back-mutations, i.e. a white variety becomes red again. One of the examples is the white muscatel, which has a red family such as the Hamburg muscatel
